Gram Shikshan Mandir;

In order to set up a non formal school in such remote places, we identified the local youth and designated him as an 'ACHARYA' after a systematic training of 10 days.
And the timing decided for such Non Formal School is evening 4 to 6, which is best suitable to all. The Syllabus Contents are modified as per their requirement, and all the Prayers, Poems and stories are crafted in their own language.
The strategy of this 'Gram Shikshan Mandir' is to begin with Games, Folk Songs, Fairy Tales, National and Local Ancient heroes, fables, & then numbers, letters etc.
The Best Part of our Initiative is that, we have drafted this Project with close involvement of the Locals, and even in the implementation part we had identified Local Youth.
Presently we have 270 Gram Shikshan Mandir in the Remote areas of Satpuda Ranges, more than 5000 students benefiting from 115 Villages in 3 Taluka. All these are well executed by the dedicated team of 48 Coordinators and 270 Acharya.
This non formal education has contributed to a great extend in the developmental initiatives of these areas. As people here experienced trust and confidence in us to work along and be part of the development.
